Terms of Trade

These terms apply to every order placed with GRS Safety (ABN 85 687 068 159), whether through this website, by email, phone or on a business account. By ordering you accept them.

1. Pricing and GST

  • Website prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Quotes, account price lists and invoices are ex GST unless stated, with GST added at the current rate.
  • Prices can change without notice. If a price on the website is clearly wrong we'll tell you before accepting your order and you can proceed at the correct price or cancel.
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days for stocked lines and 14 days for anything with a supplier lead time or a garment allocation. If our supplier's price moves by more than 5% before we place your order, we'll pass the change through and confirm with you first.

2. Orders and acceptance

  • Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we've confirmed stock and sent an order confirmation. We can decline or cancel an order at any time before dispatch and will refund anything paid.
  • Some products are shown as quote-only because they're sold in packs, cartons or supplier minimum quantities. We'll confirm the quantity, price and lead time before you commit.
  • Minimum order values and delivery charges are set out in our Delivery & Pickup policy.

3. Custom, embroidered and special-order goods

  • Embroidery, printing, branded garments and special-order or bulk lines are made or ordered in for you. They require a 50% deposit before we start, with the balance due before dispatch unless you're on an approved account.
  • Once you've approved the artwork or proof, or we've placed the order with our supplier, the order can't be cancelled or returned unless the goods are faulty.
  • You confirm you're entitled to use any logo or artwork you supply.

4. Bulk and project orders

Orders over $5,000 ex GST, mobilisation orders and project supply are quoted. A 50% deposit is required with the order and the balance before dispatch, unless different terms are written into the quote. Lead times in a quote are our best estimate based on supplier advice and aren't guaranteed.

5. Business accounts and payment terms

  • Business accounts are opened on application and approval. Standard terms are 14 days from invoice date, paid by direct debit (our default) or EFT. Account limits are set on approval and reviewed as trading history builds.
  • Card payments on account invoices attract a 1.5% surcharge. Direct debit and EFT have no surcharge.
  • If an invoice is overdue we may put the account on stop-supply until it's paid, hold managed-site visits, and recover reasonable collection costs. Title to goods passes when they're paid for in full.
  • Managed Site Supply agreements are governed by the service agreement you sign with us; these terms apply to everything else.

6. Delivery and risk

Delivery options, charges and lead times are in our Delivery & Pickup policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection. If you ask us to leave goods unattended at a site, they're at your risk once delivered.

7. Product information and standards

We list the standards and certifications our suppliers provide for each product. It's your responsibility to confirm a product suits your site's hazards, your risk assessment and any client requirements. If you're not sure, ask us before you order and we'll check with the manufacturer.

8. Returns and consumer guarantees

Returns are handled under our Returns & Refunds policy. Nothing in these terms excludes any guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to goods we supply is limited to replacing the goods or refunding their price. We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including site downtime, provided that nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

10. Privacy

We handle your details under our Privacy Policy and don't sell or share customer lists.

11. General
